The short version
CerebraEdge ("CerebraEdge," "we," "us," or "our") operates a SaaS platform (the "Platform") designed to streamline the lending workflow between TPOs and lenders. The Platform also builds tools to support TPOs and brokers, their business. This Privacy Policy governs the personal information we collect through that Platform and any associated websites or services.
By creating an account or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact us to request data deletion.
01 - What We Collect
Information we gather
We collect information in three ways: directly from you during registration and platform use, automatically through technical systems, and occasionally from trusted third-party sources to verify or enrich your profile.
When you first sign up, we collect your email address to create your account. As you complete your broker package application for lender approval, you will provide additional professional details including your name, NMLS number, phone number, and relevant business information. This information is stored in our system so it can be delivered to all lenders you choose to work with, saving you from re-entering it repeatedly.

We may also pull publicly available credential data - for example from the NMLS - to validate your professional standing and reduce manual onboarding friction for both you and your lenders.

03 - Sharing & Disclosure
Who else sees your data
When you choose to apply with a lender through our Platform, we transmit your profile and documents you upload to that lender to facilitate the review process. This transfer happens only upon your affirmative action - never automatically.
We also work with a small number of trusted sub-processors (such as error-monitoring and infrastructure providers) who may receive anonymized or pseudonymized technical data under strict data-processing agreements. These partners are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
Beyond the above, we do not disclose your information to any third party - including data brokers, advertisers, or any government authority - unless required by applicable law, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to notify you first where legally permitted.
04 - Analytics & Monitoring
How we keep the platform healthy
We use logging and error-tracking tools to monitor platform reliability. These services help us understand where errors occur, how quickly pages load, and where users experience friction - so we can fix problems before they affect you.
Data collected for this purpose may include session identifiers, navigation paths, stack traces, and device/browser metadata. All such data is minimized to what is strictly necessary for technical operations. It is never cross-referenced with your identity for marketing purposes or shared with advertising networks.
05 - Security
How we protect your information
We take data security seriously. Our platform requires SMS confirmation before your application is submitted to a lender, encrypted data transmission (TLS), and role-based access controls that limit which team members can view sensitive information.
We conduct periodic security reviews and stay current with industry-standard best practices. That said, no system is impenetrable - we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to contact us immediately at shruti@cerebraedge.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
06 - Data Retention
How long we keep your data
We retain your profile and associated records for as long as you have not requested their removal. In the future, we may introduce automatic deletion of data after an extended period of account inactivity.
You may request full account and data deletion at any time by emailing shruti@cerebraedge.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
07 - Your Rights
You're in control
Regardless of where you are located, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

08 - Cookies
Brower storage & similar technologies
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Any analytics cookies we deploy are governed by the same data-minimization principles described in Section 04.
Our Platform caches data fetched from our servers locally on your device using browser-native storage, specifically localStorage and IndexedDB. This allows the Platform to load faster and function smoothly without making repeated network requests for the same information. It also helps to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
This local cache contains only data already held on our servers under the terms of this policy - it introduces no additional data collection. It is never shared with third parties and is used solely to improve Platform performance. You can clear it at any time through your browser's "Site Data" settings, though this may slow initial load times until the cache is rebuilt.
09 - Age Requirement
This platform is for adults
CerebraEdge is a professional tool intended for licensed or registered individuals operating in the lending industry. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use our Platform.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us immediately.
10 - Policy Changes
How we handle updates
Our Privacy Policy may evolve as our platform grows or as regulations change. When we make updates, we will publish the revised policy on our website with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Minor clarifications may be made without separate notice.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
